In a recent feature by New Yorker Magazine, it was reported that Usher had invited BTS' youngest member, Jung Kook, to perform the remix of "Standing Next To You" at the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, due to his mandatory military conscription, he had to decline the offer. Understandably, ARMYs are upset that Jung Kook missed such a golden opportunity for the Super Bowl in favor of his military service, especially since he's still young and could have postponed enlistment for a couple more years.

In light of this news, we’ve decided to revisit the moment when Usher and Jung Kook collaborated for the first time on the remix of "Standing Next To You," the title track from Jung Kook's debut album, GOLDEN. In a behind-the-scenes clip, the two talented artists can be seen bonding and having fun, practicing their dance moves while sharing jokes to lighten the mood.

Fans were thrilled to see Usher making an effort to help Jung Kook feel comfortable, knowing that the GOLDEN singer is shy and introverted. ARMYs remain hopeful that once Jung Kook completes his military service, he and Usher will perform the remix live for an audience.
