TWICE's Tzuyu issues a stern warning to her lover in debut "Run Away" MV

TWICE's youngest member, Tzuyu, is the third member of the group to make her solo debut, following Nayeon and Jihyo, with her debut EP titled abouTZU and its lead track, "Run Away."
"Run Away" unfolds like a mini-movie, featuring a stunning Tzuyu who issues a stern warning to her lover, offering fleeting glimpses of him in the music video. She urges him to make a choice: run away or stay. With lines like, "Run, run away, I'll give you a chance before it's too late. Once you're in my arms, you will beg, beg to stay. Now say okay, when you're ready, hit play," the song immediately captures attention without any unnecessary dramatic buildup.

Tzuyu's vocals have noticeably improved over the years, sounding strong, powerful, and somewhat unnerving, which adds to her charisma and presence on screen. The visuals are striking and captivating. However, one drawback of the music video is the abrupt transition from intense imagery to Tzuyu dancing with a group of performers. While it fits the quintessential K-pop aesthetic, a more angst-ridden solo performance from Tzuyu would have made this debut track nearly perfect.
