WayV Set to DUEL in New Concept Photos

Sports rivalries; movie finales of good vs evil; historic tales of battle - Showdowns are always so exciting, no matter the context. WayV seems to understand this just as well as anyone, and their newest concept photos have people intrigued for what’s coming up next. The group recently announced their first Japanese mini-album, The Highest, will be released in August. As part of the rollout, they’ve revealed the photos for the DUEL version of the album.

 

And boy do these guys look ready for a duel. The all-black outfits bring a sense of majesty and ominous, forbidding presence to the shoot, and you can just feel the tension. To be clear, it’s not so much tension between the members as it is that sort of nervous energy you have right before something big is about to go down. Kudos to the whole team, because these pics really nail the vibe.
