BTS' RM and SUGA have shared a bond for 14 years, a fact fans have heard countless times from SUGA, who never misses an opportunity to highlight his friendship with RM. As founding members of BTS, they became trainees at Big Hit Entertainment in 2010 and debuted together in 2013, witnessing the incredible rise of BTS over the years.

 

ARMYs are well aware of the close and brotherly relationship between RM and SUGA, which sometimes includes playful bickering reminiscent of an old married couple. Despite this, they’ve both been key pillars in BTS' musical journey and global success. A year ago, RM appeared on SUGA’s online drinking talk show, Suchwita. During the episode, the two rappers discussed aegyo—the Korean act of being cute, often as a form of fan service. SUGA revealed that he had seen TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Soobin do it and decided to give it a try.

Without warning, SUGA folded his hands, swayed them back and forth, and bobbed his head while doing so. The entire sequence was so unexpected that RM was left speechless, unsure how to react to SUGA’s sudden display of aegyo. Moments like this only further solidify their enduring friendship.
