Watch the Moment NewJeans becomes a part of PUBG

This is one of the more unique video game collaborations we’ve seen. In a move reminiscent of Travis Scott’s Fortnite appearance, NewJeans is releasing exclusive content for PUBG Battlegrounds (Otherwise known as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds). This is another popular battle royale game that inspired Fortnite. 

 

The collab features all five members of NewJeans: Danielle, Hanni, Haerin, Hyein, and Minji. Their fandom refers to themselves as Bunnies, so the in-game versions of NewJeams wear their conic bunny hats and beanies from the “OMG” music video as an homage to their past and a nod to their fans. 

 

NewJeans aesthetics will abound in the new update, right down to colorful crates and chests. For those who experienced the BLACKPINK collab, this shouldn’t feel too crazy. 

 

The NewJeans update drops June 12, 2024 on PC and June 20, 2024 on consoles.
