Golden Child is a boy group originally formed by Woollim Entertainment, debuting in August 2017 with "DamDaDi." The current lineup includes Daeyeol, Choi Sung Yun, Jangjun, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Donghyun, and Joochan, with several former members also tied to the group's history.
The group debuted with a bright, athletic image that fit Woollim's clean performance tradition, then gradually moved into more dramatic and mature material. By the time of "Wannabe" and "Burn It," Golden Child had developed beyond a cheerful rookie frame into sharper dance-pop and emotional performance concepts.
Golden Child's fandom is known as Goldenness. The group reads best as a long-running Woollim act with a shifting lineup and a catalog that moved from fresh youthfulness toward more polished intensity, with member-status details handled separately from the biography prose.
