Block B is a South Korean boy group known for a rebellious hip-hop identity and strong self-producing image. The lineup consists of Zico, Taeil, B-Bomb, Jaehyo, U-Kwon, Kyung, and P.O..
The group debuted in 2011 and stood apart from many idol groups of the period by leaning into louder personalities, rougher humor, and music driven by rap and production. Zico's role as a producer and public-facing creative figure helped define the group's image, but Block B's appeal also came from the contrast between strong vocals, rap-heavy tracks, and unpredictable variety presence.
The fandom is known as BBC. Block B helped widen the space for hip-hop-driven idol teams in the early 2010s, with BASTARZ and member solo work extending that identity beyond the full group.
